Upgrade to Linux is an initiative of computing enthusiasts to encourage the wider use of open source software. Many of us have used other operating systems, found them to be too limiting in privacy, performance, and personalization, and have preferred using the Linux operating system as an alternative.
This website was initiated by staff of Linux Professional Institute (LPI). However, we are encouraging anyone interested in helping people to “Upgrade to Linux” to work with us to help create or find new supporting content and local organizations.
